It’s very exciting for me to see the progress that both Orso and Karma are demonstrating in Protection Sports training. Below is my absolute favorite photo from yesterday’s class. All the photos are below it and there’s a slide show of some cool sequential shots from class, enjoy! A HUGE thanks to Artie Malesci for always taking such awesome photos of us! This is the look of concentration and focus. Orso is mentally preparing himself for training. This is not to be confused with the look of a sleepy, disinterested and slow-moving Cane Corso, LOL!
“The greatness of a nation and its moral progress can be judged by the way its animals are treated.”
― Mahatma Gandhi It’s been raining for days around here. When it’s not raining, the fencing contractors are outside working. Needless to say, they are terrified of my big, scary dogs, LOL. If they only knew…
So, between the bad weather and the workers, cabin fever is at an all-time high. I finally threw my arms up and surrendered to Orso & Karma’s energy spurts. I allowed them to literally take the family room apart. I figured I’d make it into a Kodak moment instead of letting my OCD take over. Here are some cute shots, enjoy! Today, my friend, Sheila Lieberman of Loving Obedience Dog Training, came by to visit Mira. I shamelessly took advantage of her presence to whip out the camera and get some shots with Mira and of Mira! Thanks, Sheila, for your help! Enjoy! Sheila: Momma Cleo & Mira:
On the next episode of “Dogs Gone Wild” – how to rearrange furniture in less than 5 minutes. Bonus feature on how to disconnect a sectional sofa. Tune in! For almost 2 weeks, the fencing company that is working on “Project Costa Bel Pooch Prison” has been here day in and day out. The cabin fever is starting to build, especially with Cleo & Karma. They are out of control. Below is a picture of my family room. That rearrangement of furniture occurred in less than 5 minutes while I was feeding Mira. Crazy bitches. Cartoon version of my dogs:
Now that Mira has her eyes open, she is realizing that getting out of her “puppy cave” isn’t quite as difficult as when her little eyes were sealed shut. After today’s incessant attempts at escape, she finally fell soundly asleep in her “overfed chipmunk” pose. Here are a couple of photos, enjoy
There is such a huge value in always learning about topics you have a passion for. Obviously, I have a passion for my dogs! On this month’s reading agenda – better breeding, feeding and training!
Considering that I am home most of the time waiting for Mira’s next feeding, these books will come in handy in between her feedings! |
